LSD is actually derived from a fungus called the ergot fungus. It is the most powerful conscious-altering substance known to man and is a synthetic psychedelic drug. It has to be measured in micrograms, or millionths of a gram, due to how powerful it actually is. Two suitcases of it would be enough to get the entire US population high. One ounce would be enough to trip 300,000 people. 

LSD is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. So, it is blotted on little square sheets of paper with crazy designs on them and a dose is called a tab. Each tab costs about $7 and you can’t ever really be sure how much you are getting, because LSD degrades rapidly upon exposure to light, air, and heat. 

It is so dangerous, because any one hit of LSD can put you on a permanent trip. It could be the first time you use it or the 100th, but you never know when it could happen.
